Partner Carwash Standards, Terms & Conditions

This Partner Carwash Standards Document (the “Standards”) defines the minimum operational, service, brand, and technology requirements applicable to all Partner Carwash operators participating in The CarWash Club network. These Standards form Annexure A to the Carwash Club Partner Agreement and are binding on all Partner Carwashes.

The objective of these Standards is to ensure a consistent, high-quality, fast, and reliable customer experience across the CarWash Club network, aligned with the consumer promise communicated on The CarWash Club website.

1. Brand Promise & Member Experience

The CarWash Club is positioned as a convenient, unlimited, subscription-based car wash solutionoffering members:

  • Seamless access
  • Fast turnaround times
  • Consistently high wash quality
  • Professional, friendly service

Partner Carwashes must operate in a manner that protects and enhances this brand promise at all times.

2. Service Offering Standards

2.1 Solo Pass Wash (Mandatory)

Partner Carwashes must provide all Members with a standard exterior wash and dry, which includes at a minimum:

  • Pre-rinse
  • Exterior wash
  • Final rinse
  • Effective drying process

The vehicle must be returned clean, streak-free, and visibly dry.

2.2 Solo Plus Wash (Where Applicable)

For Solo Plus Members, Partner Carwashes must additionally provide an interior clean, which includes:

  • Interior vacuum (seats, carpets, mats)
  • Dashboard and console wipe-down
  • Door sill wipe-down

Interior cleans must be neat, professional, and completed without unnecessary delays.

2.3 No Additional Charges

  • No additional payment may be requested from Members for Solo Pass or Solo Plus services.
  • Upselling of additional services is permitted only if clearly optional and never positioned as required.

3. Operational Standards

3.1 Operating Hours

  • Partner Carwashes must operate during their advertised business hours.
  • Planned downtime must be communicated to The CarWash Club in advance.
  • Unplanned downtime must be reported immediately.

3.2 Throughput & Flow

  • Sites must be staffed and operated to minimise queues and bottlenecks.
  • Members should experience priority, fast-moving service consistent with a subscription convenience model.

3.3 Equipment & Facility Condition

  • All wash equipment must be properly maintained and fully operational.
  • Facilities must be clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
  • Wash quality must not degrade due to poor maintenance or understaffing.

4. Customer Service Standards

4.1 Staff Conduct

All staff interacting with Members must:

  • Be polite, professional, and helpful
  • Clearly understand The CarWash Club offering
  • Never challenge or question a verified Member’s entitlement

4.2 Issue Resolution

  • Any Member complaint must be handled promptly and respectfully.
  • Escalated issues must be reported to The CarWash Club management when required.

5. Technology & Access Control Standards

5.1 LPR System Compliance

  • The License Plate Recognition (LPR) system and Trigger Software must be operational at all times.
  • Staff must not bypass or override verification procedures.

5.2 Telegram Authorisation

  • Every wash must be authorised via Telegram as prescribed.
  • Failure to authorise washes may result in non-payment.

5.3 Connectivity & Care

  • Reliable internet connectivity must be maintained.
  • No unauthorised modification or third-party servicing of systems is permitted.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

Partner Carwashes must:

  • Comply fully with POPIA and all applicable data protection laws
  • Use Member data only for service delivery
  • Never store, reuse, or market to Members using CarWash Club data

7. Branding & Marketing Standards

7.1 On-Site Branding

  • All provided CarWash Club signage must be prominently displayed.
  • Branding must be kept clean and in good condition.

7.2 Brand Alignment

  • Partner Carwashes must not promote competing car wash membership programs.
  • All representations of The CarWash Club must be accurate and consistent with official messaging.

8. Quality Assurance & Audits

  • The CarWash Club reserves the right to conduct announced or unannounced inspections.
  • Mystery shopper visits may be conducted.
  • Repeated service failures may trigger corrective action or termination.

9. Non-Compliance & Remedial Action

Failure to comply with these Standards may result in:

  • Written notice of non-compliance
  • Required remedial action within a defined timeframe
  • Suspension or termination of the Partner Agreement for repeated or material breaches

10. Amendments

These Standards may be updated by The CarWash Club from time to time. The most current version will be made available via official communication or the CarWash Club website and will be binding on all Partner Carwashes.
