Fair Usage Policy

Effective Date: 1 September 2026

This Fair Use Policy applies to all Carwash Club ("CWC") members and forms part of the Solo Pass and Solo Plus Terms & Conditions. It should be read together with those Terms & Conditions and the Partner Carwash Standards.

1. Purpose

CWC memberships are designed for regular personal vehicle care at a flat monthly rate. This Fair Use Policy sets out how many washes are included in each membership tier per month, and the cost of any washes beyond that allowance. It exists to keep the service sustainable and fairly priced for all members across our partner network.

2. Monthly Wash Allowance

Each membership includes up to 5 washes per calendar month at any participating CWC partner site, in line with the relevant service tier:

• Solo Pass: up to 5 Wash & Go services per month, included in the R280/month membership fee.

• Solo Plus: up to 5 Wash, Dry & Interior services per month, included in the R480/month membership fee.

3. Additional Washes

Members may continue to use their membership or licence-plate-linked account for washes beyond the monthly allowance. From the 6th wash in a calendar month onward, the following per-wash rates apply:

• Solo Pass: R65 per additional wash

• Solo Plus: R100 per additional wash

Additional washes are paid for at the time of service and are not deducted from or carried over to the following month's allowance.

4. Monthly Reset

The wash count resets at the start of each calendar month. Unused washes from the monthly allowance do not roll over or accumulate.

5. Vehicle & Account Eligibility

The monthly allowance applies per registered vehicle on a member's account, identified via licence plate recognition (LPR) at participating partner sites. As per the Solo Pass and Solo Plus Terms & Conditions, memberships are not available for taxis, shuttles, or other commercial passenger vehicles.

6. Partner Site Availability

Washes are subject to the operating hours, capacity, and service standards of individual partner sites as set out in the Partner Carwash Standards. CWC does not guarantee wash availability at any specific site or time.

7. Changes to This Policy

CWC may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in network capacity or membership pricing. Where changes affect the monthly wash allowance or additional wash pricing, members will be notified in advance via the contact details registered to their account.
